Awareness Knowing Itself
Danna Faulds
Settle in the here and now.
Reach down into the center
where the world is not spinning
and drink this holy peace.
Feel relief flood into every
cell. Nothing to do. Nothing
to be but what you are already.
Nothing to receive but what
flows effortlessly from the
mystery into form.
Nothing to run from or run
toward. Just this breath,
awareness knowing itself as
embodiment. Just this breath,
awareness waking up to truth.

Today, I am very grateful for our yoga session. As Amber, who was beside me today will tell you, every position we went into stretched something sore on my body. That was just what I needed today!
ReplyDeleteI think we all had one or two (or more!) spots on us that needed a good stretch. This was definitely much needed!
ReplyDeleteYoga felt really nice today. I enjoyed the serenity of it. And I thought it was really funny when Nico drooled on Devorah's sweater - sorry Devorah there was no stopping that beast.

oh, I'm grateful for my 15 year old niece, Alyssa, who is the most delightful and self-actualized person I know. She shows me how to live - she's my role model. I'm grateful for/to all my friends. I'm grateful to have the means to buy food for nourishment (not cupcakes or icecream).
ReplyDeleteYesterday I was grateful for rain for my garden, for restorative evening plans that didn't cost a cent, for the start of my farmshare, and for so much to grow toward in my life.
ReplyDeleteI really wish we could have yoga Thursday mornings, too, but I'm searching for some good videos I could run for myself in the morning before heading out - it won't be as good as working with Devorah and y'all, but it might help.
